5m DEM Vaitupu_ Tuvalu_ based on 1m LiDAR DEM

This 5m Digital Terrain Model (DEM) was completed as part of the PARTneR 2 project. This project generated 5m DEMs for the Cook Islands, Marshall Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. This dataset covers the atoll of Vaitupu in Tuvalu.
The DEM was created by downsampling a 1m LiDAR dervied DEM. It was then trimmed to OSM island boundaries to remove misleading zero values in the ocean. 
The LiDAR data was acquired in May and June of 2019.
