Reasons Students in Samoa Do Not Complete Secondary

The Samoa Ministry of Education, Sports, and Culture (MESC) conducted research to understand the reasons behind high secondary school dropout rates. Findings indicated that factors such as bullying, financial hardship, academic struggles, and family dynamics significantly influenced dropout rates, with recommendations provided to address these issues and reduce dropout rates in Samoa through improved financial support, parental involvement, academic support, and school environment.
