Mission report to Tonga and Samoa, PIEPSAP project report 15, September 2004

PIEPSAP Project: Visit to Tonga : The purpose of the mission is to discuss with energy officials and relevant stakeholders in Tonga about the Pacific Islands Energy Policy & Strategic Action Planning (PIEPSAP) project. The mission to Tonga was undertaken from 21 to 28 September, 2004. The Tongan government is currently in the process of developing their national energy policy. The project aims at improving the capacity of PIC's to develop national energy policies and strategic action plans to implement the policies.
