Nauru Wind Power Feasibility Study - Wind data evaluation after 12 months at Anabar

Date modified: 15 February 2022

This report presents the wind data evaluation after 12 months measurement at the proposed wind park site Anabar at Nauru Island. The data were obtained from July 2009 to June 2010, from a measuring campaign executed within the framework of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme under SPREP. The measurement period features an average wind speed of 4.22 m/s in 30 m above ground and shows, therefore, only a marginal to moderate wind regime.  keywords: wind, resource monitoring, Nauru, Anabar, feasibility study, PREP
