New Advisory Board Members Announced for Pacific Women

Meet our new Advisory Board members supporting Pacific Women, one of the largest global commitments to gender equality.

Joining the Advisory Board, which held its most recent meeting this month, this year are: Virisila Buadromo, Fiji; Dr Fiona Hukula, Papua New Guinea; Dr Mercy Ah Sui-Maliko, Samoa; and Ethel Sigimanu, Solomon Islands.

While welcoming the new members of the Advisory Board, Pacific Women Support Unit and Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) expressed their appreciation to former members especially outgoing Chair, Tonga’s Natalia Palu Latu, World Bank Liaison Officer, who provided extensive support and dedication during her tenure. Other members who completed their tenure in 2019 are: Jane Kesno, Papua New Guinea; Reverend Sereima Lomaloma, Fiji; and Maere Tekanene, Kiribati. New co-chairs will be formally announced at the next meeting scheduled for October 2020.
