Pacific Women Contact Information for Vulnerable Groups During Times of Crisis in Papua New Guinea

Date modified: 2021

The COVID-19 crisis and other crises disproportionately affect the most vulnerable people in our communities – women living in poverty, people living with a disability, the elderly and people of diverse sexual orientation and gender expression. The social and economic recovery period of a crisis increases inequality and can lead to the neglect of the needs and rights of these most marginalised groups – women living in poverty, people living with a disability, the elderly and people of diverse sexual orientation and gender expression. This brochure provides a list of organisations from across Papua New Guinea offering a variety of community support services and referral assistance for vulnerable groups.
